I've served as Director of Audio and Video Post Production at both The Mel Robbins Podcast and 10% Happier with Dan Harris. With these teams, I outfitted and ran studios, trained producers and editors, and led all workflow initiatives.
Prior this work, I was lucky enough to work on the team at at Descript as the Product Education Manager, working with and training pro podcast teams around the world.
Getting into the podcast world. I was the Studio + Operations a Manager at the PRX Podcast Garage. At PRX I oversaw all the elements of the community's studio recording, audio production, and gear needs. I headed-up all of the audio-focused partnerships that included full-scope audio production from start to finish. Additionally, I taught workshops on Pro Tools, studio recording, and mixing/mastering with plugins.
Beginning my career in the fall of 2011, I moved to Boston, MA. And soon after, I found the West Suburban YMCA and began to create, build and implement a music + media program for teens. I turned a program of fewer than five participants into a full calendar year-long, multifaceted creative arts program including classes, bands, workshops, and experiences in Studio Recording, Live Performance, Post Production, Songwriting, Video & Film Production, and much more.
I've spent much of my career writing, performing and recording in a number of groups and ensembles. I have been lucky enough to share the stage and studio with a number of incredible artists including The Yellowjackets, Dr. John, The Ellis Marsalis Trio, Sean Jones, Josh Ritter, The Ballroom Thieves, Kaiti Jones, and many more.
